Alice Lu went to Sichuan, China during the summer of 2009. While there, she helped young kids and teenagers alike adjust to the still-alien environment which the earthquake over a year earlier had created.

Now, she has enlisted the help of several of her friends, classmates, and schoolmates to help her in her endeavor to better the lives of the poor orphans and disaster-stuck children worldwide.

The Little Sunshine Project is dedicated to help fill the hearts of these children with love; love, which may have come from their deceased parents. Through letters and a 1-to-1 pen pal system, Little Sunshine Project is an endeavor to help heal those affected by disasters.
